With the pandemic process, some imperatives entered our lives: wearing a mask, following the social distance rule, and contactlessness. According to the rules, many sectors had to produce solutions and take precautions.
Businesses such as restaurants and cafes are among the sectors that have overcome the pandemic period. The number of customers decreased due to the curfews, the person's not wanting to eat out, and the social distance rule. Business owners have begun to look for new ways to make their customers feel safe. The digital menu is an application that meets the need at this point.
Menus are one of the most contacted surfaces of customers and business employees. As Mangodo, we developed a software for 'Digital Menu' to reduce the contact. The customer reaches to the menu by reading the QR code or using the URL of my company specific mymenum.net/isletmeadi extension. They place their orders by seeing the product name, images and prices. Afterwards, we can add options such as address, online order according to the company's request, and now the company has a unique mobile application. Anyone who wants their app can download with the App Store and Google Play.
With the awareness of social responsibility, we aimed to make the digital menu easily available to everyone. For this reason, we have added a 'Voice Menu' for visually impaired people. Since the visually impaired do not see the menus and do not want to ask and disturb the people around them, they always place the same orders and are not aware of other products in the menu. Zerrin Şakır, the owner of our company, is also the JCI Eurasia 2020 EVP. Şebnem Karakuş, a member of JCI Eurasia, who is visually impaired, will perform the mentoring and vocalization of the audio menu project. We also plan to support celebrities from time to time to support us.
In addition, we have participated in the KWORKS COVID-19 EXPRESS: Corporate - Entrepreneurial Cooperation Twinning and Acceleration Platform, organized by Koç University Entrepreneurship Center, KWORKS, with the support of the Istanbul Development Agency.
